I live in Atlanta, GA...and i have never encountered weed in hash form here for my couple odd years of smoking reefer...is it just not common in the southeast or the whole US?

What's the deal, and why is it so rare around here...It seems like it readily available in Europe and UK but not US...Is there just less hash culture in US...

Most hashish in the United States is not imported, but rather produced locally, unlike other countries which ship it in primarily from the middle east. Most hash in the United States is made using the bubble bag, or similar method using ice water and a series of screens. Most of the people procuding enough hash for sale or export are large growers, and most of the large growers are in California. Its a damn shame that Cali hash doesn't make it nearly as far east as Cali bud does.

Yeah Cali stuff pretty much stays in the West. Here in Washington state it can be found but only on occasion. Luckily B.C. is just to the north.=D

If you want to get hash make it yourself its surprisingly easy, just look it up online. Buy like an o of 30's and your set to make it using kitchen chemistry.

Make it yourself(super easy), I see two types here in Florida: 1.locally produced dark dry hash 2. Cali imported blonde and full melt. It's around a good amount most people that locally make it will either smoke with me or give me a proper break off(as they don't produce sales amounts). The Cali shit is pretty cheap but available only once a month.

This is just my 2 cents, but you should be the happiest person in the world to be able to get a hold of the real deal =) Whenever I think of hashish, I think of the awful sh*t we have to smoke back home (northern Europe) to get baked. It's not often we get a hold of actual weed, instead everyone buys these cut hashish cakes consisting of "something brown"(your prob don't want to know) with a very very low THC ratio... Then again, that's just us...
Damn, now I also want to get a hold of some "real hashish" with more or less just crystals. Grrrr =D

Ya...I remember youtubing vid's on how to make hash but never cared to go through with it..

And now that i think about it its probably available in Cali Med Club culture but why hasn't it permeated its way into mainstream U.S. weed culture..Is it less profitable or something..

I think it's maybe that the US has these wide-ass borders with Canada and Mexico. A lot of countries in Europe are a lot more crowded and depend on nations pretty far away for a lot of their cannabis. If someone's going to transport something all the way from Nepal, Morocco, or Afghanistan, I figure they'd try to condense it down to its most potent form, so the payoff would be greater by weight and volume.

Ive seen/smoked hash once and it was when my friend who was about to go to the navy found a piece of hash at his house (supposedly his parents) so we offered to try it out for him since he couldn't smoke, and i was supah skeed :D

in the 80's i had access to a smorgasbord of hash. 3 or 4 different types for sale in one pub. red leb was wonderful, morrocco produced many a sweet tasting and interesting hash... but the wide varieties of black principally occupied me.

the stuff made out of green, besides being a little harsh tastes of green, charas has a slightly greasier feel to the smoke for example, but is oh so lip smackingly good and gentle on the throat.

not really common in eastern canada.. the city i'm in, people know so little about hash that dealers will sell it for the price of weed! i've gotten an oz of charas for 200 bux before :D
