has anyone seen this pill???

A friend of mine just got hold of some pills and we were wondering what they were called or if they are good, supposedly they were called(my friend can't remember) californias, or californian sunhines.
anyway these pills are off-white with brownish speckles, with a five-pointed star pressed into it, they are quite thick and flat pressed.
if anyone could help I would be very happy.
