Harvesting the Resign from a Crack Pipe

I have this friend who isn't me and they recently switched form the thin glass roses tube, to an actual one shooter from a head shop. This new pipe no longer allows him to push. The friend is not complaining because after using heavy weight in his pipe, a dark oily sludge has thickly coated the entire inside.

The friend has heard the best way is to scape it out, yet others have claimed to use a solvent. The friend needed more step by step procedures rather than just suggestions that he had found so far.

In addition the friend had noticed that there was no method given to best return the removed residue (from the tiny flakes produced by scraping or how to remove the solvent) into a state that can be smoked again.

So please share your vast knowledge with this friend that isn't me. The large amount to be had makes him want to be very certain that the procedure can be followed and produces good results.

Cut the vague third person shit out. We don't "play" that here at bluelight.

Smoking "resin" out of a crack pipe is incredibly unhealthy. There's no telling what's in there but a good bet is pyrolysis products i.e. tars.

Best thing to clean it would be acetone and scrubbing. I don't advise anyone to smoke the resultant, just like I don't advise anyone to smoke shoe polish or rotting food.
 
Given the amount I have posted in the past, I hope it can be understandable that I am unfamiliar with how blue-light deals with the self incrimination issue. I thought it was better to be safe than sorry. I must say I am surprised by the answers I got in this forum, especially by those who claim to have expertise associated with experience with the substances in question.

Of course its a bad idea to smoke the left over residue. It was a bad idea to smoke the stuff that created the residue. Yet that doesn't stop every crackhead from pushing their pipe endless times to get every molecule of residue. This process is not unique to the smoking of rock either. I have never met a self respecting stoner, who hadn't resorted to smoking a bit of res during the very dry times.

So against the advice here, the process was attempted anyway. Advice was sought simply due to the vast amount available and a desire not to waste any with improper methods. The simple method of using a bent paper clip to scrape out every drop of res was used. It was collected on a white piece of paper and promptly smoked. The taste would be the only draw back. It left the taste that can best be described as exactly like the smell of your well used pipe if you took a good sniff. However the smoke that was expelled after inhalation was literally amazing. It created a bell ringing high that a *no prices* piece would be unlikely to top. There was also enough resign produced to repeat this process FIVE separate times, with long and well needed pauses between each.

This advice might be more helpful to others who might have the same questions as the one originally asked. It's not a bright idea, but you will get the result you are looking for. This can be assured from experimentation and personal experience.
