To All the Dads out there that are Clean and Sober, or working a Harm Reduction life. You are a Blessing and Miracle to your Children. ( This is only one mans opinion) I believe that Children deserve Parents Not in the throws of Addiction. Children dd not ask to be here, we chose to bring them in to the World, so we need to give them the best possible world and chance to succeed! Have a wonderful day , and do not forget about " Good Old Dad"

Kid's don't even get asked to get born. Even getting pregnant is almost alway's uncertain.

As add-on to 'clean' parent's, assuming they stay together.
They also deserve two loving parent's that behave like grown up's, and if divorced behave civilized and with respect toward's 'Children's Right's'. Put them on the 1-st place, she choose fighting me.

Btw. the term clean and sober is a bit geneal. As that is also influenced by culture.
In Bali they eat Psilocybine Mushroom's once in a while with the whole family, could be wrong though.
And what about medical use, like 300 mg Tramadol each day or Cannabis.

Which, ok I agree neither should be consumed in front of/ or be noticeable to them. But being under the influence of. Be recreational, as usual or medical.Isn't the degree of intoxication of more importance. Or setting a good example. Makes it for me a tough one.

Sober and clean people are not by definition any better. Over here most parent's drink in front in there kid's cause its accepted, most kid's get there 1-st Alcohol in a family setting.
Cannabis and kid's the cop's also have no problem with again, they were very open about this, just not with them or in front.

Sober's can be as unreacheable toward's their kid's as someone in a Heroin addiction would be.

But thank's for wishing me happy father day, love my kid's. And the few times I see them feel they love me/ hard to miss the warm hug's.
Though I hardly see them, despite a divorce convenant. Becoming a any other weekend dad.
Due to a false accusation: D.U.I. That without a court hearing split me and my kid's apart, traumatizing. In reality only a judge may do this.
But this is the wild South-West seemingly where law is not yet implemented?

My last Father's Day gift is at least 5 years old, oh and I don't have a driving license or access to a car.

Sorry for your difficulties with Law enforcement, and the lose of access to your children.
I am a total supporter of the moderate use of all things. I work very hard to keep myself out of my defects, Selfish, self-centered and in a state of Denial!!!
I have the disease of Addiction, and have worked very hard for over 40 years to keep it at bay, its a daily struggle, but well worth it.
Life on life's terms is HARD, and Not fair. I live a life about helping others, and gracefully accepting help when offered and needed, "Karma"

Addiction is absolute imo no disease.
