Opioids Had Bupe... Had Oxy... Had it all minus H... Advice?

Hey guys,

Due to inclement luck on deployments in Iraq and Trash-ganistan, I've sustained a few life altering injuries that ultimately lead to my bar from re-enlisting("injuries sustained did not qualify for retirement). 2 elbow replacements, broken hip, shrapnel in spine, fractured vertebrae and destroyed discs.

That's the background, now here's the problem... (not asking were to get drugs... just posting to BS and share stories/advice)

Ive been on oxy oc, oxyfast, lortab elixir, duragesic 100mcg, Norco, morphine 30ir, ms contin 200mg, dillys and bupe that I used to come off of it... im sure theirs more just not remembering all...

SO... predicament is, my insurance will lapse at the end of the month and I cant afford insurance as you may guess. The VA... a while back after my exit of service, I had them refer me to a rehab facility to get "clean"... wrong fucking answer... my pain was terrible needless to say and I had to go back on the pills. well now the VA wont write for me EVEN GIVEN the evidence of "catastrophic injury".

fast forward... got a doc and he was tending to my issues, well... daddy DEA got mad at him and he sent me to pain management.

then pain management gave me 64 7.5s for a month... CWE'd em and they lasted a few days max. Also on my first visit they started trying to schedule me for a surgery and that frightened me so I flaked on them and started patronizing my locals so to speak...



I guess that leaves me at... anyone got any advice??? I do not want to try H or get into that, my afflictions are bad enough as it is (no disrespect, Just how I see it) without having to add another. Also to add I used to IV meth and rehab'd off of it in 05... so im not looking to ever go back to the needle.

{EDIT} Also, I have 2 Zohydro 30's on the way Friday... Any experience with these? or tales on how you administered? it seems the bio is higher orally?...?...?

As a fellow Veteran and War-fighter, thanks brother for all the shit you had to do. With that being said I have a very similar story. I got fucked up over there, shrapnel in the legs and back. When I got home from my last tour I decided to see a civi doctor and he wrote me everything I wanted.. Big mistake, I got addicted to the painkillers very quickly and then refused to piss one time at his office because I had been sniffing cocaine right before, another huge mistake. I was cut off and went back to using heroin via IV and this eventually lead me to my divorce. Now you're in a interesting spot, I would say ask for help real help. We are not really able to do anything but give you some support emotionally. Be safe, be well and welcome to BL. Please take the time to read the BLUA and OD guidelines, they're imperative information!

P.S Get help! The emotional pain from this lifestyle will soon if not already out-weigh the physical pain!

Emotionally, yeah... its ringing in home. BUT, luckily the wife is very supportive as she has seen me at my best and witnessed my fall. Sorry for your adverse luck bub, I somewhat feel where youre coming from. civi doc was the worst fucking idea ever.

Sorry if I fell out of guidelines somewhere... 'im new... I don't know what to do" LOL

You're good and you did not fall on the wrong side of the rules. I'm good now, pain is tolerable and I am not dependent on any drugs anymore. I simply stated the BLUA and OD guidelines because you're new. I hope you find your stay here welcoming. Don't hesitate to PM me if ya need something. Always there for a battle buddy!
