Health and Recovery forum is looking for a new moderator to join the crew!
What we expect from you:
- you will log in to Bluelight at least once a day (unless you notify your colleagues) and check through each thread in H&R for any violations of the BLUA and the H&R forum guidelines
- maintain a consistent level of activity in H&R and the staff forums
- uphold the BLUA and H&R forum guidelines at all times
- conduct yourself in a respectful, tactful and professional manner at all times
Who we are looking for:
- someone who has shown consistent activity in the Health and Recovery forum
- someone who routinely posts helpful, kind and informative responses in H&R
- someone with solid and up-to-date knowledge on harm reduction, addiction, recovery and mental health
- someone who is kind, patient and empathic is an absolute MUST

1. How much time can you commit per day to moderating H&R? What time zone do you live in?
2. What interests you about moderating H&R? What do you feel that you will bring to the team? What relevant experience do you have? (e.g. moderating elsewhere, work/volunteering/activism experience in drug education, harm reduction, addiction recovery etc)
3. How do you feel that H&R (and Bluelight as a whole) could be improved?
4. Is there anything else that you would like to tell us about yourself?
