RCs Gum recession?

I used to take a lot of RCs on blotters (mostly DOB and 25i I believe) and at some point I noticed that my gums had receded, causing bleeding and pain. I took a break from these blotters and my gums returned to normal. Just the other day I ended up taking a RC dose and my gums have been bleeding and hurting since then. Has anyone else experienced the same thing or is it just me? I do brush my teeth regularly.
 
Maybe you've been brushing your teeth too regularly. If your gums are weakened and you're scrubbing them with bristles you can do more harm than good if you overdo it.
 
A lot of compounds can be quite corrosive, it wouldn't surprise me if they contributed to your gums receeding. Just like many 2c chemicals are VERY harsh when you snort them, it is due to them being quite corrosive. I imagine it would have the same effect on yoru gums if you let it sit in your mouth like that.
