To start off, I haven't IV'd at least 3 weeks prior to this occurring. OK, So.... I have had a UTI which spread to kidneys going on for AT LEAST a week (when it was actually confirmed... was having symptoms for probably 5 days before that.) They say it's caused by Strep B. I have been on multiple antibiotics and it doesn't seem to be getting better. Even had a lovely allergic reaction to amoxicillin. The pain is so bad still... nothing is touching the pain. This is costing me so much... been to reg doc 2 times, ER and urgent care, plus the medicines which some have no generic so it's really killing me financially. Today the doctor was going to admit me to the hospital as I'm tachycardic now but after consulting with another doctor, she changed the antibiotics again and said if I feel I'm getting worse or not improving to go to the ER right away and they'll admit me for IV antibiotics.

I of course did not mention anything about me IVing drugs. My sister seems to think this is essential and keeps taunting me about being HIV positive (I'm not, she's just an ass), but like I said.... I didn't IV anything at least 3 weeks prior to these issues. I've only ever IV'd in my own home and with my husband (who has nothing) so I don't think it's something to mention. It seems to be an issue with Strep B and UTIs... so I don't feel it's really important.

What do you guys think? I'm getting worried because this is going on for so long. I've never had a good immune system, but NOTHING is helping! :( This is misery. I haven't been to work and I've done no school so this is really hurting me.

Sorry to hear you're having such issues Silenced! Kidney infections are really serious. I'd strongly urge you to go to the emergency room if things get any worse or don't improve. It's not worth your life. Doctors have to know what drugs you do, even if they're illegal, also not worth your life to keep that a secret. You won't be arrested or anything from telling them. The worst they'll do is mark it on your chart so they know for future reference. I sincerely hope everything clears up for you soon! I'm going to close this because there's no advice we can give you other than please go to the hospital.
