Alright, keep in mind I was really high when I wrote this.
GROCERY STORE ROMANCE
We met at a grocery store
I saw you in aisle 13
How could I forget
as your eyes glistened with the Lysterine.
You smiled a pearly smile
as your squeaky wheel rolled closer
You offered to buy me waffles
my flattered self said "I dont have a toaster"
Holding hands we froliced through each aisle
we stopped at the frozen foods
You said "T.V. dinners is what you crave."
I said "But I dont have a microwave."
As we passed by the candy bins
you whispered with a hiss
"I wont tell if you wont tell"
then you sneeked a Hershey's Kiss.
You bashfully tucked it in my palm
I gave you a little peck
I said "Lets check out aisle 8"
You figured 'What the heck!'
"Hike!" you said
picking up a tomato from the store
You threw it at me...I dodged
it smashed against the floor
We giggled hauntingly
as we looked into each others eyes
We knew our time was ending
It was hard to realize
You walked me through the express lane
sorrow displayed on your face
We exited passing the vending machines
you got a quarter from its place
You recieved a plastic ring
You slipped it on my hand
"This symbolizes our love" you said
as you kissed the purple band
We raced shopping carts to my car
then said goodbye with a glance
I never seen you again
