Green dragon recipe (vodka and weed)

ok i just took a shot of my green dragon brew and i have a question. i made it around three months ago with half an ounce of weed, 2 squeezed lemons and a liter of vodka. Would the lemon juice have gone bad during that time? just asking because it tasted kinda funny, but then again its vodka...
 
no, lemon juice would not go bad in an alcohol solution

the funny taste is probably from the weed
 
hehe oh god its potent, put some shake in a bottle of vodka leave it for a while and the alcohol extracts the thc.
 
^^ yes it does turn green, i prefer to use everclear but some people like vodka but IMO if you dont live in a state that sells everclear then go for bacardi 151.

use as much weed as desired but if you are doin a full bottle i reccommend a half to an ounce

if you prheat the weed in the oven on a low temp (lower than 250, to be safe)then you make it so the tincture is actually ready within hours but some people dont like the heat method and just let it sit for a couple weeks to a month, shaking it occasionally
green dragon is great and if you have a vape save the remains and make golden dragon it is ok too
 
yup mine is acctualy a 'golden dragon' cept the pieces arnt even vaped all that much. damm i got move out though my parents are hasslin me cause i was noticibaly high off it, like out of my mind no playing it cool even though im usually a pro.
 
damn. im gunna try this. do they sell everclear in FL do you know? preheat the weed or the liq? the liq right? does it matter if you use crip or some mids? i how do you use a vape to make golden dragon? how do you know when its done?

^preheat the weed not liq,

quality of buds doesnt matter alot but it will reflect the quality of your tincture

vape remains use the same process minus the heat cuz it has been done already to the vaped remains

and if you preheat the green it will be done relativly shortly after lettin it sit for a bit then strainin the weed out

if you just let it sit it could take forever. it is basically guess and test when it comes to knowing when it is done
 
use barcardi 151 since ohio doesnt have everclear (got lots of family there, thats how i know about everclear in ohio, my cousin at OSU says some students that like it go to kentucky for it)
 
I thought thc had to be with a fatty substance in order to get any sort of high if you're injesting it, didn't know you could use alcohol as well....i've gotta try this! getting high and drunk all at once, just saves time ;)
 
^^nice, i hear it absrorbs better if you swish the shot around in your mouth and hold it in your mouth as long as possible but it is always hear others peoples good experiences with tinctures cuz personally i love it
 
Could you use a substance like Wine instead of Vodka to make Green Dragon? I feel it would flow better, since a couple glasses of Wine and a few joints mix better than liquor or beer IMO.

Wine (especially White) also contains Tartaric acid, which might help with the absorption of THC.
