Its finally here folks.

With the Psychoactive Substances Act due to come into force in just over 4 weeks, Its time we tried we tried to distract ourselves from this awful event and take some time to celebrate the end of an era, 8 or so years when potent drugs of all kinds were on general sale to the public.

Saturday 2nd April sees EADD hosting the first and only Psycademy Awards. The various categories will be listed below, and I would appreciate it if folk could take the time to post as many votes as they can (not everybody will be able to vote in every category as they may not have tried the type of drug etc). Each category will be numbered so people will waste as little time as possible on their posts - just keep it basic if you need to by stating the award number and the drug you are voting for (i.e. #1 - 3-FPM).

Ill try and make as best a showcase as possible for the saturday night, with featured acts (of drug taking) and the EADD lifetime achievement award - 'Im Still Here Despite Being A Druggy My Entire Life'.

So - Ill start listing the categories so you can start voting.

Please Note - Only drugs that have been available legally (excluding alcohol and tobacco) are eligible for entry. This can include drugs that were previously available as RC's but which have since become controlled drugs through permanent addition to the MODA or subject to a Temporary Class Order, for instance Mephedrone or AL-LAD. Traditional Controlled drugs of abuse, such as Cannabis or Cocaine, are not permitted. One final exclusion involves Magic Mushrooms, which were legally available between 2003 and 2005, as they have always been a traditional drug of abuse and their inclusion would mean that they would probably wipe the floor when compared to most of the RC's that have been legally available since.

So thems the rules. On with the categories.....

#1 - Best Stimulant
#2 - Best Opioid
#3 - Best Benzo / Thienodiazepine
#4 - Best Psychedelic
#5 - Best Dissociative
#6 - The Best of the Rest (can include Nootropics and, if anyone is really inclined, synthetic cannabinoids)
#7 - Best Vendor
#8 - Only joking about #7

#7 - Wooden Laboratory Spoon for most pathetic and useless compound
#8 - Serial Killa Award (RC considered most dangerous when used acutely)

#9 - 'Im Still Here Despite Being a Druggy my Entire Life' (Lifetime Achievement Award for the biggest caner on EADD who hasn't lost it yet)

and of course

#10 - Best RC of the Era

I hope that members of EADD can get into the spirit of this, as we close 2016's awards season with its most spectacular showcase yet. Featured artists / acts may include (TBC) Ceres and his greatest GIF of all time and Fubars attempt to get into the Guinness Book Of Records for the longest 3-FPM binge of all time (deffo TBC)

So, please, get voting, and I look forward to seeing at least 3 of you on the 2nd

Never had it but surely mephedrone?

Ive had 3-f but found it meh.....but apparaently quality varies widely.

Greatest trainwreck RC......F-lam in powder form bought by the gram and "eyeballed: doses ;)
 
Imo:

#1 pre-ban mephedrone, no question
#2 O-dt. Ive only tried ODT and AH7921 re opi RCs so dont have an extensive experience to draw from, but ODT blows AH out of the water in terms of desirable effects.
#3 depends what you are looking for. If its a sense of total freedom to behave like a complete areshole with no nagging conscience, not giving a shit what anyone thinks, and getting royally fucked and staying that way for months on end Phenazepam fits the bill. Though it is kind of an end of the line benzo, when you are past caring, or if you werent before you started you soon will be. :sus:
#4 no experience, yet, soon to be remedied.
#5 MXE was the only one i ever tried with varying outcomes and doses. In many ways my first moderate dabble was the best, some lowish dose i cant recall, but it left me feeling in a very silly mood, as if everything was really funny, even perceiving the walls of my house to be all wonky angles seemed so silly and so strange and amusing. :o
#7 Mexedrone closely followed by 4MEC, B2 etc
#8 (Edited) Fentanyl analogues.
#10 Tied between Mephedrone and Odt.

AL-LAD for #4, MXE for #5 and I think etizolam has to win #3.

Dont have opinions on most others as dont think any RC stim, opioid or other are worth a damn, but also havent tried any of them much.

Ethylphenidate, the one RC stim I have tried gets the wooden spoon for me and I would vote for it for #8 as my first trial I thought I was going to have a heart attack and generally felt like toxic crap. I know most will disagree but thats my experience.

AL-LAD wins best compound overall, #10.

I don't want to go through all of the categories because I don't have enough experience with enough RCs.

Overall - MXE
Synthetic Cannabinoids - JWH-018
Benzos - Toss up between etizolam and clonazolam. I like both for different uses. Etizolam was good recreationally but clonazolam was great for sleep.
Psychedelics - I don't know what we're classing as RCs or how far back that definition stretches. If we're including 2Cs, then 2C-B. If not, then 1p-LSD.
Stimulant - I'm tempted to chose mephedrone but it really was a big catalyst for depressive states. I think I'll chose MDPV, which was merely a big catalyst for psychosis.
