Great, on 4/20 I'm worried about throat cancer

I know weed can make you paranoid and shit and now I've discovered after a year or so of heavy smoking I have today developed white patches on the back of my throat and a little one on my hangy thing.

I have been smoking out of a pipe recently and I'm not sure if that is due to the irritation but I've never seen white spots like this and I'm worried.

Anybody else experience this? I suppose my throat isn't used to the harshness of a pipe since I'm used to smoking from a bong but I can't tell if I'm just telling myself that I've been high all day and now I'm worried.
 
do you have a sore throat?

i had a sore throat many years back that gave me those white spots you're talking about.
 
I've had mono and I've had TONS of white spots on my tonsils before and back of throat but never on my hangy thing. And what worries me more is that I don't really have a sore throat at all its just white patches. I've never had white patches and NOT had a sore throat ya know?
 
Theres a few different throat diseases that will cause white spots to appear on your tonsils and other parts of your throat. Tonsillitis is one of them.
 
Could be a strep throat bro. Either that or might be side affects from smoking cigarettes if you smoke as well.

Better for you tho. I developed a blood clot on 4/20. Although it didn't stop me :D Kept toking. Gonna go to the hospital tomorrow tho.

You & me both worried about that cancer buddy but make it a good day regardless & live in the now. Seeking medical advice is not a bad idea.
 
Yeah I don't really smoke out of dirty stuff I clean fairly often. Why are you scared of throat cancer frosty?

And yeah but with all those other things comes pain and I just feel this patches annoying there while I swallow and I don't even want to talk. Of course when I don't want to talk my mom talks to me non-stop and I'm talking like a 50 year old man after all the smoking I did on 4/20.

I don't smoke cigs or blunts btw.
 
Have you considered the possibility they are just ulcers? I think that is a fairly common effect from heavy smoking. When I was a heavy cannabis smoker (also smoked cigs) I was coughing up alot of black phlegm and got ulcers in my mouth a bit. Never inspected the back of my throat to check for them but it wouldn't surprise me if they were there. See a doctor before you freak out.

Good advice. It's probably not cancer, more likely some kind of infection.... To the doctor! They can prescribe the proper antibiotics

O that sucks krazy monkey, can I ask how did you know you had a blood clot? Could you see it crawling through your veins? 8o8o8o

When I had Tonsillitis a few years ago, I had white patches on my Tonsils and uvula.

It cleared up after some amoxycillin.
 
Get it checked by your doctor. Plain and simple.

Stopping cigarette smoking is a really good idea. It'll narrow things down for you in the long run if you continue to smoke weed.

Tobacco smoking is a nasty daily habit.
 
GET IT CHECK!!!! Then look into vaporizers to smoke your weed or do as my friend did when his throat became a problem, eat it.

After living with a blood clot for 4 years, you know the symptoms and signs of any new developing blood clots =/

And yep, was admitted to ER 4 days ago. Prescribed Lovanox, Acoumadin, and PERCOCET!!!! lol... blood clot is about 8 inches long on the left inner thigh.. Really sucks. So much pain.

Could be a yeast infection (sounds funny, but it happens)... did you share whatever you smoked out of with anyone? Sometimes bacteria gives you those little white thingies in your throat.
 
Go to a doctor, have them check it out, and tell them that you smoke pot or if you smoke tobacco.

You cannot get in legal trouble for this.

I've gotten small canker sores on the inside of my lip after smoking cigars and drinking lots of booze but what you are describing does not sound like a canker sore at all.
