got some old ethchlorvynol(placidyl) pills, what are they like?

i just bought some placidyl tabs from like the 80's that a friend had. it says placidyl on the pill and its red. i've got 12 of them(thats how many were in the bottle).

i know they are a barb/benzo like downer, but are they any different or special from the usual GABAergic sedatives?

took 4 last night, they feel most similar to barbs(clumbsy, intoxicated) but make you even more drowsy. also they were not as euphoric as good barbs but i'd rank placidyl over phenobarbital and most benzos.

the strongest effect was the hypnotic effect(stronger than any benzo, barb, or even methaqualone), and there was also a weird dissociated feeling as well. other than that it was like barbs or booze.

*this would be the best comedown downer, i'll save the rest for that.
