Our very own special legend Jakoz is giving up his mod position so he has more time to concentrate on admin stuff, making Bluelight the wonderful playground it is for all of us.

So a big thank-you to Jakoz from vurtomatic, babu and myself for all the hard work he has put into making Aus Social the great place it is right now.

And just to let everyone know we’re not opening applications for new mods just yet, we’ll see how we go with us three.

Honey you’re the best, enjoy posting as a user and just cause you’re a big admin now doesn’t mean we’re not going to shut down any stupid threads of yours ;)

Hey all... I know I'm not meant to be replying this early, but forgive me... Im in the mood.;)

Actually, I'm pretty sad atm... Aus Social is my baby, and always meant more to me than the admin spot - it was so enjoyable... the users are so cool, and there's always something interesting. Admin on the other hand is 90% paperwork. I kept the mod spot after I became admin because it kept the enjoyment in the site. Responsibility weighs heavy around my neck, and it honestly sux to have a couple of titles next to your name every time you post... everyone is so ready to quote things back at you, etc.

I had always intended on being mod longer than admin, but I cant keep it up. The upgrade is so involved, and will be for some time (many hours a day) that I had to sacrifice one title. I might enjoy being mod more, but as one of only two tech admin I can do the most for the cause of the site as admin.

I want to point out how much the mods of this forum kick ass. They are all fucking awesome. You don't find in other forums what they have here. I wouldnt be retiring if I was in any doubt about the wellbeing of the forum, but I know that, in expertise terms, I wont be missed. They do the regions our forum represents a credit, and they are all respected throughout the board.

I hope to come back after these tech issues cool down after a couple of months, but I dont know if Ill still be here at all. Im trying to avoid BL burnout by resigning... the hours now are huge, and I dont want to get to a point where I cant even face the board anymore. Its too great a board to deserve that.

Okay... enough rambling... sorry... this is (believe it or not) real sentimental for me.

Take it easy everyone. You make the forum, and as far as Im concerned the forum is the best in the world.

Thankyou.... it has been an absolute pleasure to help you. It hurts like hell to leave.
