thc isnt water soluble so you need to add cream, milk, or some kind of oil/fat.
why is that fats, alchol, make thc from stems/tray trash, soluble? is there an explanation to this?
i've made butter and veg oil for treats several times with good results. its a good idea to do if you have like a quater of shwag or stems to maybe a cup to a cup and a half of butter/oil. you want to saute' at a low temp for(IMO)45 mins at the very least, the longer you saute' the more saturation. make sure not to have the heat up to high, set the burner to one of its lower cooking temps. don't be a fool and put the cooked stems/weed in the mix, thats why they have strainers. straining can be a personal preference, some people might like having it in there, but if its not in there, its like eating a regular cookie/brownie. remember to strain well, every drop counts. you can put that butter/oil in any baking recipe. what works best is if the more butter/oil ratio to substance you have to eat the better. desired affects for me are achieved with one portion of the recipe i.e. one cookie or brownie(maybe two). the more you attempt the better you will understand the process, it is a lot of trial and error.
i found a good cookie and brownie mix at the grocery store. it consisted of mixing up brownies which you used 1/2 a cup of butter/oil, and peanutbutter cookies which used 1/2 a cup butter/oil. what you did was lay the brownie mix out in a pan. then you dropped into the brownie the raw peanutbutter cookie mix and bake. one portion of that got me spliffin', since there was a lot of butter/oil called for in the recipe.
there are all sorts of recipes for ganja butter/oil. gooballs are bomb, they use no egg, so they are good if you don't eat animals or their byproducts. google gooballs and you will find recipes for it.
i have never done the vodka or everclear thing. seems less appealing than getting high off some good ass eats.
