Good tutorials for Massive?

Yeah. But I want people's recommendations... I'm looking for something like boy in the bands tutorials. Except with massive instead lol

No one? Really? lol I thought there were a few producers on this forum but its cool... still can't find what I'm looking for but they'll know over on DF so ill go there :)

Mods you guys can close this if you guys want <3

Just read the manual, and mess around with the software yourself. That should teach you all you need to know.

I literally just started producing last week... so not much. I know the basics and how to put a beat together for different genres so that it sounds semi-good. I'm still learning my way around filters and sequencers and shit.

Reading the manual would be awesome, the only problem is that Massive isn't mine. It's my bro's, and he won't let me go anywhere near his DJ equipment or software until he's sure I know what I'm doing. So I'm kind of stuck with using videos and GarageBand for right now... that's why I'm looking for Massive tutorials.

Massive is too extensive for a beginner (at least in my opinion). Too much features, get yourself some freeware virtual analog and read up on subtractive synthesis.

I agree with bagseed. If you are just trying to learn to produce, learn Ableton Live. If you are committed and have some money, get Maschine. It's an amazing software/hardware combo and there are tons of great tutorals for it. Massive is a synth, not a production suite.

:D

Yeah my bro has Maschine too

I'm saving up right now for everything, gonna take me a while though since I screwed up my financial situation a while back. That's why I wanna learn what my bro has so I can actually practice in the meantime. I can get Reason for free, idk about Ableton though.

thanks for the link :)
