Gold weed is purple haze?

I need help finding out what marijuana this is:bright yellow-brown, didn't see much green or hairs in it but it had lots of crystals. So what I am wondering if anyone knows what strain it could be? Thanx :D

Yellow-brown? Sounds bunk. Could be some sort of legal herb, yellow brown sounds about right for that. It does suck at first but gets your wacked out after a minute. I would ask your dealer if you could, if not, I'd say it probably wasn't natural trees. Like you said, purple doesn't dry out, and since you know he was lying in the first place, who knows. Also, around here, chronic usually refers to weed + cocaine.

I'm no guru, though, just my 2 cents. (I'm also pretty baked atm :) )
 
well we can't really ID some strain without a picture. even with a picture we couldn't. sounds like it was legal buds or vaporized bud, but purps strains don't need to be purple.
 
no way of guessing what kind of weed you have.

pictures wont even help. everyone grows different, everyone dries different. there are hundreds of strains of marijuana.
 
Actually the purple in the plant does degrage when dried as the chlorophil breaks down...But its still visible, you got some other shit man.

Purple is a strain name, not a description of the nug... A nug can legitimately be purple haze and not be very purple. although it doesn't sound like the case here.
 
who know what the hell it is really, can we close this please? no one will be able to give and exact answer of what the bud is withoutt a picture and or more information
 
some weed naturally grows/cures gold (Malawi, Acapulco, etc).. during curing (or right before rather) some plants (I think sativas?) can be stressed to make golden buds. Doesn't mean junk weed and prolly not purple haze.
