Is this stuff any good for bodybuilding. I don't mean it in a AAS way, as in that you need to get to your peak before you start using, can you use it as soon as you start lifting?

I know it breaks down into nitric oxide in the body which (I'm not sure how.) aids in building muscle.

If I were to get a hold of this stuff it would be in the sublingual spray form, 200 doses a bottle.

I've heard that this stuff can be physically addictive (Apparently in the old 19th Century TNT factories people making the stuff used to get withdrawl over the weekend off work then had headaches on a monday morning as their tolerance had lowered!) how fast does this happen?

Is it worth taking?

If it is worth it how should one go about taking it, i.e. as a 6 week course every other day or 3x daily for 1 week then a week off? How?

What are the risks?

I'm 24years old, 11.8 stone/74.93Kg, just getting back into lifting. I have adrenal suppression and have to take Hydrocortisone 20mg daily to replace my cortisol levels.

I'm also on 30ml methadone maintenance and 20mg temazepam for sleep.

Never touched AAS's and I don't have the cash for them at the moment and wouldn't use them at the moment anyway as I'm not at my physical peak! :\

Thx for the future replies!

Bumpty bump!

No one know anything about TNT and bodybuilding?

Is this a joke? First off, TNT(tri nitro toluene) and nitroglycerin are two completely different compounds. Second, I have never heard of either compound being used as a vascodilator for bodybuilding. You should check out aakg.

Is this a joke?

The thread is not a joke, I made the simple mistake of thinking Glyceryl trinitrate/nitroglycerin is TNT.

Glyceryl trinitrate / Nitro Glycerine is a vasodilator, has it been used in bodybuilding before? I don't know, I'm asking if it's use as a vasodilator and cause it turns into nitric oxide will be of benefit to me lifting weights. If so, how, when and what doseage should I use? If I get some it will be in a 200 dose sublingual spray form.

Both of the quotes below are from everyone's favourite Wiki! ....

Nitroglycerin is also used medically as a vasodilator to treat heart conditions, such as angina and chronic heart failure. It is one of the oldest and most useful drugs for treating heart disease by shortening or even preventing attacks of angina pectoris. Nitroglycerin comes in forms of tablets, sprays or patches.[1]

nitroglycerin is converted to nitric oxide in the body by mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase,[17] and nitric oxide is a natural vasodilator.

LawnChairSkank again, what's this aakg!?!?!? :\

BUMP!

Come on people I know this stuff can be used in BB'ing, but how much do I take and how often?

This stuff turns directly into nitric oxide!

I'm pretty sure the rush of nitric oxide would peak and disapate within a couple of seconds making it useless unless taken with each rep. And if you did that youd be fucked and drop the bar on yourself or keel over. Anyway I thought nitric oxide only provided a better pump and its effects on mass building were kind of minimal.

I say this has NO VALUE IN BODYBUILDING. I have never read a single thread on its use apart from this one- and its not suprising as this is a rec drug board with a steroid forum. If you want to use rec drugs THATS FINE but don't think that any rec drug has any positive effect on weight lifting or gaining mass. There are always more appropriate bodybuilding solutions than rec drug use (clen versus speed for example)

Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AAKG) is a popular ingredient in many cell volumiers. The Alpha-Ketoglutarate compound helps improve the delivery of L-Arginine and is one of the most important nitrogen (NO2) transporters in metabolic pathways.

What are the key benefits?
AAKG contains both Arginine and Alpha-Ketoglutarate. Arginine is a conditionally essential amino acid that has a number of vital roles in human biochemistry and has an important role in protein synthesis.

Alpha-Ketoglutarate is another important biological compound, used by the body to help with the creation of usable energy from carbohydrates, fats and protein. It combines with ammonia to create glutamic acid, a precursor of glutamine.

Additional information
Nitric Oxide (NO2) is a very powerful vasodilator that increases the intensity and duration of the "pump" which is gained when working out (usually after heavy weights). Most AAKG users experience a visible increase in vascularity and pump. Our AAKG is produced at a ratio of 2:1 (Arginine:Alpha-Ketoglutarate).

Is this stuff a definate no no then? Cause I have the equvilant of about 50 - 70 doses.

And the way I was going to use it (Before People on BL told me stuff) was just one or 2 sprays under my tongue either before or after working out to increase my Nitric Oxide!
