Glassine Viles of Heroin

The more I've bee researching heroin, both on these boards and through other online sources and books, the more I become interested in these glassine viles I am hearing about. From what I understand these are small glass viles, usually of a specific brand of smack, that are presealed to prevent the runners from tampering with the shit.
How much, on average, is in a vile? I've heard $50 buy a vile of highly potent heroin (70-90% pure) thats targeted for heroin users who snort and not bang. I have also heard as much as $120 for a vile.
From what I understand they are most common in Baltimore, but wouldn't be surprised if they were sold elsewhere as well. I doubt they would be sold on the west coast considering virtually everything around there is tar. So where the fuck do you find these? Not that I'm looking to score one, I'm just curious as to where they are most common.

I get all of my heroin from Baltimore since DC heroin is typically low grade and cut to holy hell.
It comes in glass vials of varying sizes. The sizes don't matter. It's sold as dimes or twenties. And the amount of heroin inside the vials is generally the same every time despite the size of the vial and depends on if you're getting a dime or twenty. In the past few days, the amount in the vials has been getting smaller, though. Then again the quality is remarkably high. My tolerance has been going up quite a bit, but I can only inject half a twenty of the new batches.
The quality is always good. It comes in tiny broken brown rocks, some darker than others. The darker ones seem more pure. Thew new batches I just described turn the water almost black and are REALLY strong. One of my friends who can usually bang two twenties in a row can only take one of these.
I actually prefer the other stuff I was getting before because it was a little easier to control the dose/high.
One time the vials had "$" signs on them, but otherwise they have no specific names or brands. Just "dope" or "raw".
They do sell it in weight, too, starting from 8balls. That just comes as a large rock in a large plastic baggie.
