Glass Bong Question...

Is it safe to fill the shaft of the bong with ice cubes? I'm afraid that because it is glass the ice cubes and the heat from the smoke can have a weird reaction and maybe crack the glass...or the cubes can scratch it (which I doubt). I'm just playin it safe

Sorry about that....Yeah, go for it. It's the best when and after rolling. Don't worry about your glass peice. This is for a water bong right??? Try this...add a juss a lil bit...a really small amout of Scope or minty mouth wash...and some ice...and toke away!!! it's the best!!!!

I'm afraid that the ice against the glass would make it cold, and when the warm smoke runs against it, the cold glass will crack. Has this ever happened?
 
Ice is good - just dont do something stoopid like throwing them in there hard!
Also try this old trick: Put the eyedrops in the fridge for a while before dropping them... aaaahhh that feels gooood.....

Ice is nice, just watch out because it melts and fills the bong up more, you don't want water going up the slide into your bowl and soaking the nugs. I've seen it happen before.

Don't worry about always smoke my lovely greens out of bongs with ice in them. Do it all the time and never had one crack. Anyway i think bongs were made for that.

Please do me a favor and put water in your bongs BEFORE you drop in your ice cubes.I, unfortunately, had the pleasure of watching my friend put a hole in mine(first bong...Ambrosia...my baby!!)

Put some water in the bong first, approx. 1/2 to quarter inch under the bottom of your tube/stem, then tilt the bong & SLIDE not drop the ice cubes in & you'll fine, this way when the ice melts it won't overflow like someone mentioned earlier.
