How far can you safely push a ginkgo biloba dosage? Some products are marketed as 120 mg several times a day, while some are only 60.

Ive taken maybe 400 mg tops for studying before.

is there any definitive answer before it causes bleeding etc??

I find anything above 240mg a day to be uncomfortably stimulating. Even 240mg (taken in 2 doses morning and afternoon) gives me insomnia sometimes. But as for actual toxic dose ranges, I'm not sure. I'd imagine it would be fairly forgiving though.

I was taking 60mg twice a day off on and off for awhile, then I doubled that amount. It personally doesn't seem to have any noticeable effect, but as long as you work up to higher doses slowly, I think you'll be alright. I've seen some products with as high as 500mg a pill, but that doesn't necessarily reflect the quality.

I recently got coffee been extract and bee pollen, gonna try them later

I always felt I had some aneurysm or something because when I took this, I could hear a vascular whoosing, maybe even "squeak" in my head. For years friends teased I was nuts. Recently on a CT scan for a migraine, they found a lucent lesion, most likely a "venous lake or emissary vein", they did a total bone scan and repeat CT, all with the same result
This was just from taking 60mg once a day so I believe this to be potent stuff. At least the blood thinning quality

^Huh, I get the same whooshing and squeaky sensations when I take ginkgo. But I have a pre existing brain lesion (which is why I take this supplement in the first place). What was the doctors advice to you, if I might inquire?
