Opioids Getting refills on codeine

Say someone gets a legit RX from urgent care for codeine due to developing bronchitis. They get the RX filled and they end up spilling it on accident. What are the odds that he or she will be able to get a new RX from the doctor. This person has never asked for a refill though they did get another RX earlier this year due to bronchitis. Person is legitimately sick but not too sick.
 
I wouldn't attempt this because it makes you look sketchy. I've had bronchitis numerous times and only once got prescribed cough syrup with codeine. Buy something over the counter and tough it out.
 
It's up to the doctors discretion. We can't really say anymore than that and since this thread is just speculation and no HR value I'm closing it.
