Getting excited to go back for Fall.

I love the end of August. It seems so exzciting to me..I have all these wonderful ideas in my head about how good this new school semester will be, how I want to meet new people, new supplies etc etc.

Anyone else excited to go back?
 
Hell yeah I'm excited to get back. Almost everybody I know doesn't understand how kick ass going to school can be. Also, it's my second year and I'm finally about to learn some of the subjects I am actually interested in, like chemistry and philosophy. I'm glad I have interesting classes, cause I havn't had a good class since psychology in my first semester.
 
Same here, im going into my third year so i am completely done with all the gen ed stuff and i get to focus on the 'fun' stuff... my major finally :D
 
I've been studying all summer so I haven't really had time to relax. I get about 2 weeks off once I write this saturday then it's back to the grind. Looking forward to seeing my University friends again, catch up on things over a couple drinks. What I'm not looking forward to is paying tuition and buying books. Hopefully I can borrow quite a few. As with the beginning of every year it's open season with regards to women.
 
hell yah i cant wait for school to start. i love summer and all but nothing beats early september, parties are at their wildest and the vibe is so high, weather is great, plus slack work so pleanty of time to enjoy social life and no responsibility. i cant wait this semester im actually completely finished with my major and taking a bunch of rediculously easy 200 level classes for my minor, and pretty much have a 4 day weekend every week. glad i decided to stick around and not graduate last may lol!!!!
 
i'm super excited for school to start, but life's gonna be hecktic for me here for a bit...starting school back up and i'm getting ready to move to a new apt. in the same week. yikes. still excited though...esp. about the new abode :)
 
I just want to know if I got into Honours!?!?

And at least my roommates won't be alcoholic, violent, racist, woman hating Quebecois psychos, so thats good

Hopefully this time I'll hasome confidence with the women too, though Montreal makes for some fucking STIFF competition
 
I'm just starting college the end of this month after being out of high school for (holy shit) 8 years. I am really excited to finally start pursuing something that I want to do and meet other people with the same interests. It's a bit nerve racking though. :\

I myself am starting at a new school..I transferred out of my old one finally!

Going to CCAD here in Columbus for my BFA, possibly a minor in Art Therapy ... not sure yet, don't have to decide that for another year. :\ Good luck to you as well!:)
 
I'm excited about getting a degree in May and making some money thereafter, dealing with school is getting very, very tired.
 
i've spent a year working inbetween degrees... and the main thing i'm looking forwards to is NOT BEING TOLD WHAT TO DO BY FACELESS FUCKING CORPORATE BASTARDS

I'm so excited to go back. I love the unadulterated freedom, and of course the parties. Cant wait to move into the new place in september
 
I'd really like to be excited about this coming semester but it's just not happening. I have this creeping feeling that I'm not going to be able to muster the motivation not to fuck it up.
 
i'm looking forward to this year only because it's my last year of classes ever. in may i'll get my masters. i'm also really nervous about this year, because i'm doing my thesis. i know this will involve a tremendous amount of my time (considering i'm also teaching full-time) and cause a lot of stress. but after this year... it's over. so i guess i am pretty excited.

I worked all summer and I'll only have a week off before school starts. I'm super excited to go back, but I'm also a bit intimidated because I'm taking physics and organic chem at the same time. Ah well, should be invigorating :)
 
I'm really looking forward to going back. Majoring in chemistry now whereas I used to be in information technology. I can't wait to go to school for something I don't know much about rather than correcting my teachers and such. Havn't taken any classes in a year cause I was getting my residency in Washington before going to school.

I did a lot of work for huge companies in the past year as well and I completly understand what you're saying.
