Lately I've had zero motivation to do anything, benzos seems to work magic for me but I'd like to cut them out completely. I've looked around and I've made a list of vitamins and supplements that I'm going to start taking everyday.

5HTP
L-Tryptophan
L-Theanine
B Stress Complex w/ Vitamin C

Is there anything else I should try? I'm going to be exercising daily as well. How long until I notice some kind of change?

valerian root, cat nip, and hops work kind of well together as far as supplements go. My gf's psychiatrist basically shits all over these supplements and would just throw stimulants at you. 5htp used to give me anxiety as well, i don't really like it. There's also kava kava and kanna, those should help and though i don't fully recommend it, kratom is effective, whether you want to consider that a supplement or drug i don't know.

probably take a couple weeks to notice any real changes, i'm not sure any of those supplements even have studies done on them that state their efficacy in treating anxiety/depression/motivation.

Exercise cannot be stressed more in this situation.

Try and get these stress reducing nutrients from the foods themselves. Your body absorbs them better from food rather than a pill http://www.livestrong.com/article/354775-why-food-is-better-than-supplements/

Try these:
Tryptophan - turkey, milk, eggs
Omega 3 - daily! Avocados, fatty fish like salmon, soy, flaxseed
Magnesium - Spinach, oats, nuts
Antioxidants - blueberries, pomegranate juice, Oranges, dark chocolate
Theanine - green tea (try decaf if this makes you jumpy)

For motivation, specifically, L-Tyrosine would do absolute wonders on an empty stomach in the morning.

For ridding anxiety, specifically, L-Theanine is a miraculous supplement.

Also, no need to take both 5HTP and L-Tryptophan. One or the other, preferably midday or evening. Try them both out and see which one works best for you, but one or the other is really all you'd need.

I agree with Harrythehead. I'm not convinced throwing a bunch of tablets down your throat is going to cure your lack of motivation. Exercise, a balanced diet with lots of fruit and veg, general activity throughout the day even if it's just a short walk. Try taking a cold shower too. There's a thread about it somewhere on here. But I've been taking 2 minutes under freezing water every morning for the last few weeks and am feeling great because of it. You'll be surprised, you come out feeling warm with an almost electric feeling flowing under your skin, as well as an increase in mental energy. Well worth it.
