feel like im going mad at times but lsd, nbome, dmt, shrooms make me see geometric patterns and find patterns with out me being aware of it im just confronted with so many patterns when im on psychoactives, just from starring at a wall my brain finds a pattern. even patterns in thoughts. geometric patterns are in nature every where, snow flakes, shells, plants, animals, dna, what is there fucking importance and why is my brain so attracted to them? just read about the golden ratio/god ratio. theres maths to the geometric patterns read here:
http://hynesva.com/blogs/character_and_excellence/archive/2009/11/15/the-golden-ratio-a-wonder-of-god-s-creation.aspx.
so does any one else have this brain issue when they use psychedelics, mass patterning? iv even hallucinated patterns on anti depressants and tramadol.
with dmt i get these tribal patterns and symbols that i cant really describe. is it some form of ancient knowledge stored in our bodys memory/dna from our ancestors? or is it inside the dmt molecule or is this patterning all around us from an alternate reality? there not only there but in normal sane reality.

It's entirely structural- that is to say, we see fractal-based patterns largely because of the shape & mechanics of your eye as well as variations in the pressure in your eyes.

This was proven through a series of tests with where the eyeball was compressed in various different ways (it didn't say how this was done, sounds painful) and it was found that different levels/types of pressure resulted in seeing different things- lines, orbs, triangles etc.

I'll dig out the book and write it up properly later.

I suspect there's much more going on as well- fractals could be caused by our brain not being able to properly identify the edge of things (where one thing ends and another begins) so it kinda 'glitches' and you get fractals. And some of the trails/'phasing' are probably simply caused by our brain not processing visual information properly so you end up with multiple repeated images when something moves instead of a fluid movement.

cheers for some information.
is there any known reason why some people get trails/tracers worse then other people? like i see tracers when im sober only started after heavy lsd use and been permanent since then. but there amplified when i do chemicals again lol
