my girlfriend did dope on a friday.... she says a quarter of a bag, tiny amount, she didn't even really feel it..... it was stupid, she says. anyway, she drank some extra fluids to be "safe," and on a monday was tested and showed low creatinin levels... super-low...17. or twelve maybe? low.

so now her rehab wants her to give up some money for a GC/MS test, which so far she has refused on the grounds of the fifteen dollars being an exorbitant expenditure.

so uh.... if she were to let them do it, you think her pee would be clean anyway?

it's massively diluted, she did a super-tiny, not-even-able-to-feel-it kind of shot, and she did it on friday, got tested on monday...... can she let them do the GC/MS?

i imagine it would be better if she let them, to alleviate suspicions, but i don't know if she'll go to jail if she does.

????

i'm curious. i can't really help her with this situation. bluelight, can you help me??



OH: and: how long does dope last in your spit? i'm not finding it on erowid. i have conflicting reports about it. what's the wise consensus on that?

Chances are she will be ok. The low levels are probably due to such diluted pee, which isn't uncommon. As long as she hasn't been using large amounts before her last dose I would imagine she will pass. If she has been using often, however, it could be a race against the clock. Opiates are out of your system quite fast. Hope that helps. Good luck

This is a drug testing question which unfortunately isn't allowed here...

but I'd just go for the GC/MS. It's a risk, and it'll most likely come back positive as morphine (heroin's metabolite) stays in the system for up to 72 hours, sometimes longer.

i'm confused.... like, yeah, the low levels of creatinin are from her diluting her pee, which she did because she took that quarter of a shot. i wasn't clear, though: that was the only dope she's done in months.

so i don't know what to think of your saying she'll pass as long as she hasn't been using large amounts before her last dose.... i'm trying to conceptualize what that means if it was her only dose, yknow?

like, the gc/ms is a test on the diluted urine. they want to see if she diluted because of dope (which she did), but she only did a tiny amount of dope, not even enough to feel it, and she had from friday to monday for it to clear out. and it's already super diluted.

so, with those things in mind, i'm wondering how she'll do if she lets them do the gc/ms. i'm inclined to think she'll be okay, but i was looking for more educated opinions. sorry i didn't make it clear that this was her only dope use in months.

I wish I could give you a concrete answer, but there are so many factors that play into the scenario(weight, height, metabolism, body fat % ect). That fact that it was her only dose is encouraging. the test will search for metabolites in her urine, which in this case would be morphine.

since this sort of thing cant be discussed ill leave it there, but I hope it works out, and personally, I think it will.

and uh yea, gc/ms can detect shit down to like one trillionth of a gram per liter or better
