Misc GBL tolerance has more than doubled in just a couple of days?

So, for the last two weeks, I've been using gbl quite heavily. Almost 24/7 but I've had some periods of 12-hour rest in between. This didn't do anything to my tolerance: 2ml was a perfect dose.

But from last Friday, I've bought some product which seems to be an excellent mephedrone replacement (still don't know what it is, but it's quite alright) and I've been using this product from Friday till Tuesday morning, which is insane, I know. I've always combined my gbl with it, which seemed to be a nice combo.

But since Tuesday, I've been out of this mephedrone replacement (luckily, though, lol) and obviously I've been feeling very depressed. That's where the gbl comes in handy, right? But the problem is that it almost doesn't affect me. Right now I'm on 4(!)ml of gbl and I only feel a very mild buzz.

How is that possible? I've never known gbl tolerance to raise so fast. There were times where I used ghb almost every day for two straight years and it never raised my tolerance, but now look where I'm at... 8(

IME GBL tolerance rises significantly faster than GHB. 24/7 dosing even for periods as short as a few weeks with both substances is a terrible idea, as it can leave you with some deadly withdrawal symptoms resembling those of alcohols, if not worst. The fact that your tolerance is beginning to rise is a sign of dependence. Contrararily, narcoleptic patients who use GHB twice every night experience no withdrawal whatsoever. Cut down on your use, spending a week in a psychiatric facility in delirium is no fun.

Edit: I should also add that your mephedrone replacement could be partially responsible for your rise in tolerance. It's difficult to say without knowing what the substance is. Try using your regular dose without the mephedrone replacement.

Thanks for your reply. It's been over 6 hours since my last dose of gbl and I don't feel anything. Normally, I have a horrible dopamine rebound which makes my heart go crazy and requires me to either take another dose or take some benzo's (I assure you, these are not withdrawal symtoms, I've always had this with ghb/gbl). This probably has to do with the fact that I have almost no dopamine left in me because of the meph replacement? Could this be true?

Also, it's been over two days since I had this meph replacement in me, so yes, I've already tried it without it. 4ml of gbl hardly affected me, whereas normally 2ml is my perfect dose (always has been).

Do not 24 hour does with any GHB derivative. 6-9 hours should be the longest anyone should binge for.

Space out your dosing as far as you can. Remember that GBL/GHB is a stimulant as well as a depressant, so one shouldn't chase its depressant effects.

I agree with the Renz.... GHB/GBL tolerance happens fairly quick. Give it a week of daily morning till night risings and you'll be hooked for sure. Its got a nasty withdrawal as well. Be safe. NEVER dose a super high dose at once after a few days off either. The time it takes for tolerance to go down is just as quick from my experience.

GHB is a known dopamine reuptake inhibtor/releaser, so I don't think your use of mephedrone is connected to your lack of effects. Many people use GHB with no problems on come downs from more powerful stimulants. GHB's recreational effects are not only from dopamine, but it's effects on GABA, serotonin, and the GHB receptor. I still think your problem is from your dosing regimen. Try to abstain for a while to detect any withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, depression, or tremors. If they're there than its dependence and tolerance.

If your worried about dopamine depletion try supplementing with some l-tyrosine.
