So I know all about gabapentin tolerance and staggering doses and what have you but what I'm using it for is the transition from heroin to suboxone. Now here is where my problem arises, I believed I was going to start suboxone tonight (being at 36 hours from my 2nd to last shot) but dude came through with a shot and well I caved and I took about 2400mg throughout the day to stabilize myself till I got to the point to take the suboxone but alas I used so I have to wait again... I have 26 100mg ones left and I NEED to use them to transition cause I got work tomorrow, so that being said me taking such a high dose today do you think my tolerance is now sky rocketed and I won't feel any relief from opiate withdrawal? Like is it the recreational affects that help with the opiate withdrawal or the medicinal? Do you have to take large doses to help with opiate withdrawal or can you stick to like the 1200-1500mg range, staggered for 3-4 days????

anyone? doctor? dr? hm?

Gababpentin doesn't build physical tolerance like benzos or opiates. It.builds tolerance in the sense you are used to the effects and tolerate them better,
