So when I was in HS we always used to through edible parties, and I was also watching my buddys who could bake make sick cannabis eddibles. Yesterday I made some brownies so my buddy could sell his nasty brick weed without getting a bad rep for it. I had never made them alone before and fucked up the brownie part, having only enough for one tray. The butter (using a water/butter combo then getting th butter alone to drop out of solution) was awesome, and the potency was obvius from eating a bit of batter as I made them. (so high that I forgot that there were brownies being made and almost went back to my dorm). I ate two and was TOO HIGH FOR CLASS. That has not happened to me in the last 3 or 4 years, I was shocked. I think i may still be high (24 hours later.....)

I just spoke to alot of other people who ate them, and my buddy whos weed it was (he ate like 3) and everyone felt the same. They were like WTF was in those brownies (and kids make edibles alot around here). I'm assuiming its cus it was a z of bud and a q of heady stems in 24 brownies.

I would eat cookies in school and I never thought eating them would affect your eyes. I was wrong...

The one day I had like a heat wave running up and down my body. It was weird.

I've eaten 5 brownies in my life and never had a positive experience with hem. At best I would just get sleepy and take a nap. I feel like I'm missing out on something.

You have to be pretty precise with how much you eat. Eating more than maybe 1.8 grams is going to be almost certainly too intense. The range of 0.7 to 1.7 grams is pretty good IMO, depending on how high you want to get, and somewhat on the potency of the weed, although the potency of the weed makes less of a difference that logically it would seem, IME... It seems to impact the type of high more than anything.

I would say that you cooked it just right. People probably aren't used to the high because previous batches were probably done wrong. IME people often cook the weed in butter way too hot or for way too long destroying the thc. I've even seen people just throw weed in the brownie mix and cook it as is which is a great way to ruin em.

I always take a little bit more butter than the recipe requires and simmer the weed in that over low low heat. Once the room fills with the aromatic vapor of mj I watch it until the chopped bud begins to lose its color. I then immediately take the pan off the burner and cool it in the fridge to save time. Once it's cool I just follow the recipe on the box. It's important to let it cool so you don't cook the eggs in the mixing bowl (it's happened lol). I don't even bother to strain out the bud because if you chop it finely you don't even notice it. Just thought that I'd post my method because it's never failed me ever in any recipe, be it cookies, brownies or ever banana nut muffins (those were bomb). You can substitute the butter for a oil as long as it has enough fat.

Can I ask where you got these arbitrary numbers?
Do you have a source or is this just from personal experience?

I'm just plain curious.

haha that made me "lol"..

However, just saying you got really high from eating brownies doesn't qualify for "cannabis discussion".

without a specific question, closed :\
