Happy Friday Eadd <3

Gimme the dirt, what are you going to do this weekend?

I'll be doing the boring stuff for you, keep the family happy and provide the meals - but I expect some entertainment in kind ;)

If you ask politely, I may just do a debauched act for you ...well, I just may do it ;) Ask!

Mid-January, the most depressing time of the year, you lot need cheered up.

To get you going:

Skating in the day, clubbing on 3-FPM in the evening on sat, then sunday to recover and try to be awake for the lecture week. Should be a good time now I've got enough weed to properly combo with the 3-FPM instead of relying on drinks when I'm out. Should probably try and make an effort to eat properly really, but I'm going to be shopping while high so I'll probably come back with nothing but chocolate and doritos..

I am having some old friends over for dinner on Saturday night. I am thinking warm asian duck salad and some fine pinot noir. There may or may not be cocaine involved.

Sounds like a fantastic dinner party.

What is the actual time difference between us? At the moment it is 03.53 GMT, Fri 22nd Jan - what is it where you are?

Your internal clock's a little off, it's only friday today (I hope. Would be a bit miffed to have missed a day).

Think that was wishful on my thinking Squidy! Thanks for drawing my attention to it :) will be drug fucked on the internet on a Thur...that sounds all wrong, I'm sure to get a narcissist complex about it. Thur = drugs = wrong = 8)

Hey we now have an extra day to the week! Pity that means and extra day's work for a lot of us who do Mon - Fri. :\

Bejstis :| I think I'm not warm to you Squidgy person..

I just looked it up. We are 11 hours ahead here so it must be 5:17 am there then i think..

11 hours ahead. So you are likely to die before us lol ;)

Have you visited the UK consumer?

I've never been to Australia but my OH has. Do you recommend it? Are you indigenous or an immigrant? If you don't mind me asking. My parent were Irish so I'm a child of an immigrant in Scotland.

Scotland is cold and dark in the day span right now. Send some some sunshine our way please :) It'll likely be April untill we get some light and little heat here..

I'm up and kinda ready for work, bit wobbly nothing I'm not used to... Coffee and porridge are necessary to get me going.

I'll be in for 8am and out by 4pm - damn us public sector workers eh. Long lunch at noon till 2pm too. It will start getting dark by 3.30pm. I driving in by darkness and leaving in darkness... Least I have no ferry trips today, they are the dogs bollocks in wintertime.

Fucking hate the darkness, almost 6 months of it :!

I have never been to the UK Koneko. I went to Europe in 1991 and have been to France, Holland, Spain, Greece, Italy and Germany. I will get to the UK one day though.

I am born and bred here in Australia. I would definitely recommend a visit for sure. Its a beautiful country with lots to see. Its bloody expensive here though..for everything. I am not sure how all the back packers afford to come here these days. Wages are generally ok so its affordable to live here though rents and property in Sydney is super expensive.

I missed the indigenous question. No i am not. I do have a lot of indigenous friends though. Its an amazing culture that unfortunately is not respected or treated well here in oz. Its the shame of our nation to be honest.

I just popped some sunshine in the mail. It should be there soon :)

Consumer that's interesting you've never been to the UK man. You fit in so well here and when we chatted on TC I just presumed you were an ex pat haha :D

I presume Kate was at the vino last night? ;)

I'm a bit rough. Was having epic dreams then got woke up at 6.30am next door neighbours dog going mad. Sore head and a dry mouth. That's what you get for tucking into your weekend drug supply a day early I guess!

I've no plans tonight got a mate who's back from Ireland I'm seeing at some point tomorrow or Sunday which will be good to catch up. :)

Nope never been. I was meant to go to the UK on that 1991 trip..first stop was supposed to be London, but i was going to see a girl and she decided to go to Greece on a working holiday so i ended up going there first, then followed her to Israel where we broke up. Had a look around Egypt then flew to Amsterdam to medicate my broken heart. Managed to make my way around a fair bit of Europe after that but never ended up getting to the UK. One day i will.

My brother has moved to Sydney (Surry Hills) from London and thinks rents are scandalously cheap! Agreed about the other stuff though, he tells me Australia has the highest minimum wage in the world? Which I guess would make up for the increased cost of everything.

I have never heard of anyone saying inner city rents in Sydney were cheap. I wouldn't imagine Surry Hills being cheap as its quite trendy and well positioned. Maybe compared to London it is..i dont know but for the average aussie its definitely considered expensive.
