Am currently freebase washing a batch I picked up. Seems fairly weak, but seemed a good chance to practice my wash skills.
As the solvent (pet ether) was evaporating, I separated the solvent into 3 different beakers and now I have a variety of recrystallization patterns in each one. Problem is I don't know how freebase cocaine is supposed to look.
Can anyone describe what pure freebase looks like, or how it should crystallize? One of the cuts has obviously carried over and I'm not sure how to judge my results.
Beaker 1 - Crystals are slightly translucent, though the camera doesn't show it too well here.
Beaker 2 - Crystals are more dome shaped and a bit fuzzy (assuming there is a mix of the non-polar cut that came through)
Beaker 3 - Pure flat white round domes
