Misc Found...Methaqualone/Lemmon 714s, MDA and LSD sugar cubes

So my grandmother just passed away and my brother and I were cleaning out her basement. She had a big "treasure looking" chest under a sheet, so we took the sheet off to move it upstairs but got curious so we tried to look inside but it was locked. Having no clue where the key might have been, we just busted it open with a crowbar and brute force. Inside the chest there was a myriad of strange looking items, like old looking psychedelic shirts/pants/headbands, some records of some pretty cool artists at the time, other various strange looking items, some pipes and bongs (lol wtf?) then a little black box under everything.

Already obviously interested in this find, we wanted to look inside the box, but it again had a lock with no key to be found so we got a drill and spent about an hour drilling into the lock totally f*****ing up the lock mechanism until it opened lol. But what we found inside was really strange...

There was this almost like vacuumed dark sealed bag that had at least maybe...a hundred? of these little round white pills that when we opened it and took them out said lemmon 714 (some of them scratched out? maybe lemmon 71?) and then a jar of ...sugar cubes with a ring seal? We also found another vacuum baggy of these multicolored looking pills (possibly MDA/ecstasy of some sort). Not sure WTF ANY of this shit is....I assume its drug related?

Could the sugar cubes be LSD? I have heard of the drops being put into sugar cubes. There is a shit load of them in there.
Could the pills be some sort of MDA?
What about those weird lemmon pills? They seem like they were made like by a pharm company?

Anythoughts ? It's an interesting find to say the least about our late grandmother...
 
hmnnnnnn.... just did a google search and I think you've stumbled accross a stash of quaaludes or Methaqualone manufactured by Lemmon Pharma... see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methaqualone

These are well before my time and only heard references to them in movies like wolf of wall street..... and yes I'd like some :P

Acid on sugar cubes is still how I like to take it, but whether they're still usable I wouldn't know, perhaps try psychedelic drugs forum? Cold Dark basement in sealed airtight containers would be as good a chance as any, but it still might be a longshot.

Might be worth investing in a full pill testing kit to see what other treasures you have!!! and would love to hear if you find out more about your grandmothers hidden past..

Methaqualone huh? WTF lol. May have to give them a try. If it's a really old drug though I don't want to be poisoned. I will have to do some research on them. I DEFINITELY want to see if the sugar cubes/ "e pills" are anything. Otherwise, why in the fuck would they be locked in a box in a basement lol? Hope grandma left us a psychedelic treat.
 
best go off and get advise from people who know better than me.... I did a couple of searches on BL and Google - theres are some threads about them, but I think in the meantime keep everything sealed, in the dark and cool while you find some better advise is all I can suggest especially if they are genuine then they're between 29 and 36 years old!!!... Psychedelics is where I'd start

If you dont mind me asking, what age was your grandmother when she passed away? Just wondering in case they're not hers but the generation in between you both!!!!
 
Wow, what a find. Some very interesting stuff, and as far as it goes, pretty good storage conditions as well.

The Lemmon 714 pills are probably the most famous Rx of all time (well, maybe #2 after OC80s). They're also the most likely to be good after all this time.

The sugar cubes and random pills could really be anything, and because of the way LSD degrades when exposed to heat it's unlikely they would have survived this long (but it's definitely possible, so while I wouldn't encourage it, you could eat a cube--just make sure it's not moldy?).

I don't know, I definitely wouldn't start munching away, but it sounds like it was packaged well, so I wouldn't throw it away either... Tough choice.
 
Considering the rarity of real Lemmon 714s these days I'm going to move this over to Other Drugs and modify the title... We normally would close a thread like this since you're at least partially asking for a pill ID but methaqualone has all but disappeared so in the interest of harm reduction I'm keeping this one open.

Wow. So apparently I now have 92 of these extremely rare pills that some on here have claimed to be really euphoric. The only way to find out if they are good is to try them? I will try them for sure I think if they are indeed this rare and aren't even made anymore.

Also apparently my grandma was in a lot of orgies in her 20s because there are photos of her and all these people fucking lol its kinda gross.

Whatever man! I took the pills home with me and got out my mdxx test kit and the first one turned up purple then black. So uh heh.... Safe to say there is definitely MDx in there....

anyway these ludes are one hell of a find, like someone said before they're long gone and we only hear about them in movies and stuff... have fun wolf of wall street style...
 
Damn dude, your grandma sounds pretty fucking cool, I'm sorry for your loss. It sounds like you knew her pretty well.

What era are we talking about for these pictures/substances? (i.e. when was your grandma born? around what years were these crazy times?)

Congratulations, you've found your nan's magic fun box. (head out the gutter boys) Quaaludes, acid, and MDA probably. I would bet money it's all still good too.

Either that or she confiscated it off someone in the 70s and forgot about it :P

Nice to be able to say I was part of an archeological dig :) Please do post pics, just so we can all see what we're missing, but have your username and bluelight written on the paper underneath so nobody else uses it in the future.....
