So this seems to be a genre thats really taking off as of late, and im totally hooked.
Its like if Jungle and Juke had a baby and let it smoke a lot of PCP.
Id say its hearth is in the UK, stemming from the UK Bass scene, but with major american juke influences.
Om Unit, Machinedrum, and Ital Tek are absolutely killing it right now!

Its still somewhat fresh, but it seems to be leaving its mark.
