Okay so im new here and i was just wondering about the feeling i had when i took my first focalin xr 15MG pill my question was i high or is this the normal feeling of Focalin XR. I took Focalin XR 15MG around 7:30a.m. and around im gunna say around 8:20 a.m. or earlier it took "effect" I became awake and very focused. my heart rate was up and it felt like i could conquer the world almost like i could tackle any problem thrown at me. It lasted about 8 hours. However since then this feeling hasnt come back Day 1 was the only day like this. So my question was i high or was that the effect of the drug and if it was why is it not like that now should i increase my dose.? Im not looking for a high but that day was the most focused day ive had in my life. Now it almost feels like nothing just more awake in a sense? It made me want to do things

Most likely the effects are not hitting you any more. It's not a great stimulant like amphetamines are, so it's possible that you really felt it the first time you took it, however, you're no longer feeling the effects

Stimulants, especially methyl-and dexmethylphenidate, cause a very rapid tolerance. I mean, VERY rapid. When I would go on a Vyvanse binge, I only felt focused and driven and euphoric after the first dose. After that, I would need upwards of 420 mg just to get remotely close to the way I felt on Day One.
Take breaks from the drug if you can resist the temptation. Maybe skip dosing on the weekends and go back to it on Monday morning. That should help a little.

I abused Concerta in the past and probably took a 3 to 4 year break from any kind of stimulant except caffeine of course so i should really have no tolerance at all at least not yet

It might seem absurd to think you built a tolerance that fast, but you did. Trust me. I've been down the same road. After a few days of consistent use, they lose their magic quickly.
