Benzos Flumazenil & Precipitated W/D

Would administration of Flumazenil (the naloxone of benzos, so to speak) "precipitate withdrawals" upon administration on a heavily dependent benzodiazepine user?

I see no reason why it wouldn't since it exists to reverse the effects of a benzodiazepine.

If the person has benzos in their system the administration of flumanzenil will induce withdrawals.

Its the same type of thing as the use of Narcan (naloxone) to reverse the effects of opioids and more importantly, to reverse an opioid overdose. Flumanzenil will reverse a benzodiazepine overdose.
