Did a bunch of the preloading bollocks like grapefruit juice, tonic water, bicarb soda, antihistamine - and I've got no opiate tolerances. Took 20 mg oral about 0.5-1 hours after the previous stuff and started watching a film. Only felt some very minor effects so about 1.5 hours after first ingesting I snorted another 20 mg. Nearly 3 hours in now, had a walk around and at best I feel a bit light headed and oh so slightly off balance. The vendor I got it off has nothing but good reviews and it came in the original blister.

What's occuring?

Had a similar experience when CWEing like 500 mg codeine last year (note; not in the first attempt, I went up in increments over time). Thoroughly disappointed.

Edit- I'm not experiencing any negative effects either.

If you had a 40 contin snorting won't do anything and 20mg oral with the time release won't do much.

Ah balls. I did remove the coating and crush up though, I'm assuming it's the coating that is the time release?

Nope, the time release is distributed throughout the whole pill, the coating is just there for distinguishing purposes and ease of swallowing. If you would have taken the whole thing at once you may have gotten slightly better results. I wouldn't recommend a person new to opiates to jump right in and take 40mg instant release, most people can feel the effects from as little as 5-10mg the first time and I wouldn't advise starting with more than 20mg. You did the right thing being cautious, just the wrong pill for what you were looking for.

Bah live and learn. Thanks.

If you crush em up and leave them in an acidic beverage that'll partially defeat the time realese but not fully unfortunately. Dont snort them time release ones either (hell i wouldnt snort any type of oxy because oral has a hugher bioavailabilty but thats just prefrence)
