First Time High Reactions

The first time my friend got baked (off a rather large weed cookie) she was fine for about an hour, just with the usual giggles and happy feeling. But after that she crashed, just layed down on the couch and stared at a pillow.
Any medical reason for this? The rest of us just assumed she was scared at the feeling of being so baked on her first time, but I want to make sure that that is all and she is going to be ok.
Any Idea's as to what might cause that reaction?
 
Yeah man it's easy to freak out if your first high is on a very large dose of cannabis.

One puff is enough for a newbie.
 
that is normal im guessing. my friend ate some brownies for the first time and ended up passing out on my recliner for like 4 hours.
 
First time is usually the most intense. First time i got blazed i was in a whole new world, and it sounds like your friend was too.
 
I began to lose grip of reality and it freaked me the fuck out. Literally imagine falling asleep and waking up every instant. Everything was blinking, my entire reality was strobing.

I was trippin so hard my friend began to get worried, I tried to lay down and relax but I was wayy fucked up. my friend said I laid there twitching for a good 10 minutes.
 
My first high wasnt all that bad. It was like my 4th time smoking and i actually threw up. I didnt feel sick or anything up until i started gettin giggly then it kinda just happened. After that i felt fine and was really enjoyin my high. Even smoked a little bit more later that night.

She is feeling a lot better, even wants to try again with me sometime.
 
I love seeing people get high for their first time...

It takes longer than an hour for someone to fully come up on oral weed. The full effects probably didn't hit till the 2 hour or so mark, at which time she became extremely intoxicated especially for someone with no tolerance and with out any experience. If she wasn't complaining or showing signs of anxiety I would assume she is just chilling extremely hard. Also why don't you ask her if she enjoyed it. That to me would be the logical thing to do.
 
my first time i pretty much started freaking out. I took about 4 large hits out of this home-made gatorade bong, but had some really good weed. I went to a club for teenagers afterward and just wanted to be somewhere quite where i could cope with it.....and chill. Talking was out of the question, lol, couldn't do it.

She's probably doing what i would have done if I could have lied down
 
I did ask her, she enjoyed it up until the point where she thought she was being watched and followed. Which is expectable for a first timer.

Yeah, I can remember when me and a friend smoked for the first time, we were at some intersection and decided it would be a good idea to hide behind these low bushes. We ended up smooshing the entire bush in the proccess. Nothing like her trip though.

This is the exact same thing that happened to me the first time I got high, except I enjoyed it. Rolling around on the floor laughing and finally feeling free from reality.
