First Time Heroin Sickness

My friend is gonna smoke some tar tonight but its his first time, and I know most people get pretty sick the first time. When I did it I only got sick when I walked around. If I laid there I was fine.

Is there anything he can take to avoid the sickness? Maybe dramamine? Or any tips other than don't move around too much?

When you get sick from taking heroin it's because you dosed to high. Tell your friend to start out smaller and he should be fine. Have him take it in a couple small doses that are spaced out rather than one large one.
 
Yeah, I was going to have him start out with just a pinhead size dose. Thanks for the quick responses.
 
I always found making myself puke (usually just putting my head in the toilet was enough) always made me feel quite a bit better. But yes, it's easier to not dose too much in the first place. You get accustomed to it after using for a while, if you're foolish enough to go there.
 
Assuming you dont avoid getting sick which is more likely and dont have any anti-nausea meds.

Keep you stomach full of water at first. Because it will come up really easy with no chocking gaging or dry heaving. And your body will be relived quickly and it will pass that much faster
 
Promethazine 30 mg tabelts broken in half. Start with half, if no nausea relief, take the other half and encourage him to lie down and drink small sips of COOL water (not ice-cold, this could cause stomach cramps).The promethazine is an anti-histamine with anti-emetic (nausea preventing) properties. It will also potentiate the high because it makes people feel lightly sedated.

This is a better choice then Phenergen (Promethazine) 30mg if you don't want to feel more sedated. I'm RX'd both for daily use and Ondansetron 4mg ODT (orally dissolving tablets) work far better for me with a lot less of a drowsy sedated feeling. The brand name for it is "Zofran" It's a common medicine used for me when I go through 24-48 hours of non-stop vommiting blood/bile mixtures that seems to happen to me every few months. It puts me in the hospital usually (did last weekend for 3 days) & right away they always IV me 4mg Zofran (Ondansetron) & Dilaudid. It instantly stops my nausea and vomitng. Give it a shot if you can get it.
 
Does he experience with opiates?


Like Cosmic Charlie said, it means you took too much. Dose slowly, over an extended period of time.

If he has no opiate experience, I'd recommend dosing on an empty stomach and avoiding food and drinking a lot of liquids while high. Also, laying down helps.

Yeah, he has been by my side since day one, except for heroin, we used to do 2-3 80's each a night, but I stopped and switched to H because of cost, and he has be stickin' to the OC's. But he is tired of paying for OC's just as I was. So he has quite a bit of experience with opiates. I doubt he will feel much from a pinhead dose of H since he is used to 160mg of oxy on average.

Congratulations on graduating from oxy to heroin. Watch out, H is a bitch and she will have your soul before you realized whats happened.

I hear that the high is pretty good though :D

nothing you havent felt from oxys or any other opiate.. I find them all the same
 
Just said this in another thread actually, but Ginger (either powdered wrapped in a Rizla or chunks of fresh Ginger or Ginger tea) is fantastic for nausea.
Otherwise, as suggested, Promethazine, Diphenhydramine, Dimenhydrinate or other Antihistamines with Antiemetic action.
And, as also mentioned, smaller doses.

THIS! Do you know how many times I was sicker than a dog from drinking too much liquor the night before, and I mean puking my guts up all day! I take one of those babies and all my stomach trouble dissapears, its like magic
 
Man, I really wish people would read all before posting. (as I make a hyprocrite of myself) I mean really, how many times can we say the same thing...The first time someone had mentioned promethazine plus the fact that you vomit when you does too high, was enough...

Ah 9 months she went without OC's to hop on the revirginized starting off at 40mg bandwagon and she couldn't stop vomiting for hours...
 
wow nothing like getting a friend addicted to herion and worrying about him getting sicK? maybe u should worry about him getting addicted... hahaha
