Stimulants First time Adderall

So tonight I aquired 2 orange capsules. They are 20mg Adderall. Opiates are the love of my life (next to my wife lol). I have no experience with stims, never done them. How much would a good starting dose be for someone with absolutely no tolerence? What will I expect to feel from these? I know people take them to help stay up and study and what-not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
I would take one and just pour the beads out into your mouth and chew on them before swallowing.

Don't expect to get any sleep for 24 hours after dosing unless you have something to help with that.
 
Isn't 20mg a bit high for a first timer? Personally, I would start with 10mg, especially since you are a downers person. I'm not sure if Tommyboy meant to chew on some of the beads and leave some uncrushed, but that might be an even better option.

If you only want 10mg with no 10mg released later (20mg XR), then you can dissolve the beads in water. The ones that dissolve are IR (glucose coated), and the plastic beads that remain are XR (plastic coated). You can drink the water and save the leftover XR beads. Or, you can split the beads in half with a scale or eyeballing it, and crush/chew the beads.
 
I think you should just take 1 capsule. 20mg is not that much for an adult to take, especially if it's xr. I understand this is an HR forum but I see little danger in that dosage.
 
Best advice I can give you is to eat a decent meal before you dose and take some magnesium to help with possible jaw clenching.
The biggest concern with lower (relative) doses of amphetamine is malnutrition.

I ended up taking only one. It's definately not something i'll do regularly, though. Thanks for the information guys!
 
I don't like taking adderal regularily either, I too am an opiate guy, but I admit, they go realllllly nicely together with opiates once in a while. I usually do a shot of heroin or 120 oxycodone and a 30mg IR adderal and always have a good time

I will do me 120 of oxy and leave it there, lol. I'm not sure on how the adderall acts when combined with oxycodone, but I'm very content on just the Oxy alone. Maybe i'll mix with some tramadol or benadryl, but I'm not too big on mixing uppers with downers. Maybe one day i'll feel adventurous enough to try the mix, though!
