i just got my hands on some fiorinal with codeine (30mg). I was reading on rxlist that if it smells like vinegar, it means the aspirin has broken down. are these still safe to take (broken down aspirin?) the exp date is 1997.

are fiorinals fun to take??? They have 30 mg codeine and also bulbalital (sp?) which is a barbiturate. Anyone have any experiences? Dosage recommendations? Thanks.

I took a whole bottle of them once - I was so fucked up I was in the hospital for 4 days. The first one was spent unconsious, they stuck some tube down my throat and gave me activated charcoal. They next day and a half were quite fun, shitting my brains out and all! I was super silly high for like 2 days trying to convince the doctors I wasnt a head case.

ATB is the exception, not the rule.. it's a fun barbituate, you should enjoy it.. they would be a lot better without the caffiene.. and the exp dates are simply giudelines set foruth by the FDA as a blanket for all drugs, it doesn't mean the shit will go bad in that time...

I am not saying they werent fun, because believe me they were great! Just dont take a whole bottle.

Fiorinal is good. I take in monthly for pain, and it works well. Take 2-3 WITH FOOD and you'll feel nice.
