Bupe Finally got some tablet form Suboxone..

I finally got my hands on some suboxone in the pill form. I've been on the films for a little over a month, 8mg film twice daily. I want to be able to make these pills last me as long as I can before using the films again. I know that sub has the nax in it but I've heard people can still snort them and get the same effect but stronger with less amount and not get sick. Does the nax block your opiate receptors if you snort suboxone? Will I get sick and put into W/D's? I have no other opiates in my system except bupe.
 
I'm pretty sure you can turn the films into an insufflable solution. "Just add water" Although I have never done this I've heard of it been done that way.
 
Snorting subs will work. It is very disgusting though if your gonna do a whole pill. It is gonna taste as bad if not worse and its gonna taste like that for longer too.
 
^ Snorting a whole Suboxone is way, way too much. Even if you were talking about the 2mg ones, that's much more than is necessary. I recommend starting at around 0.5 - 1mg, OP, and see how that holds you. I'd take a break for as long as you can stand before the first dose though to get all the excess bupe out of your system. IME, maintaining at around 0.5 - 1mg per day worked best.
 
You will be fine. Whether you snort, use it sublingually, shoot (with a micron for HR purposes).. whatever, you will not be thrown into wds or have to worry about the naloxone. That is only an issue is you have a different opiate in your system (precip wds) or are planning to take a different opiate soon after-effects little to none not to mention a waste (of both, really + unwise). The only thing I notice that is annoying is that if I snort them, I sneeze a million times-every time. I'm sure this does not happen to the majority, but thought I'd mention it.

Oh, and as mentioned above- use less than you would sublingually. Check out the excellent suboxone film thread within 'Other drugs'. There is a large amount of useful info in there, and I think you'd find it beneficial.
 
Yeah. Just beware, that powder doesn't sit to nicely in your nose either. When I would occasionally sniff the pills, I would never do a line bigger than ~.5mg to start off with, and just do a little more ever twenty minutes, until the desired ammount was consumed. I suppose since you have a higher tolerance you can sniff 1mg at a time, but a 2mg line is a bitch-just a friendly word of advice
 
Thanks for all the advice everyone! Tricomb I have turned the film into a liquid and "snorted" it, more like breathing it up your nose haha, but it did not really do anything for me except burn the shit outta my nose, worse then anything I have ever snorted before. Odd.
 
So I tried about 2.5mg over an hour I feel fine with no w/d's. But I am not experiencing any euphoria, would 4-5mg be to much intranasal considering the higher BA(on 16mg a day sublingual), or would I be straight? That's if I can tolerate that much overly sweet powder, I miss the chemical taste from painkillers :[ lol.
 
^ Give it a few days first, IMO. You're coming from a huge dose of bupe. Let your body get used to this new level and I think you'll start to feel a bit of euphoria when the dose kicks in eventually.
 
^ I used to snort 4mg daily, but it really fucks up your sinuses. There's no point in chasing any euphoria from bupe, it will eventually go away and you will just be on a higher dose and wasting bupe and money.
 
i was prescribed the strips for the last month,because as i understood, my insurance wouldnt pay for the tablets. the strips were so inconsistant for me, and they honestly felt weaker. i was buying the tabs off the street before i went into detox, and i'd be fine using 4mg a day of the tabs. but when they switched me to the strips, i needed 16 mg a day. and even then i never felt good. just baseline...I thought it was maybe because i was sniffing the pills before detox, so i tried adding water to the strips and sniffing them but it was never the same. well, after my sub group on thursday, i got my script and noticed that my dr forgot to write 'film' on the script. so i went to the drug store and VOILA, my insurance covered the tablets. did a half a tab when i got home (insuffulated) and omg instant relief. sub tabs, i love you <3
