Wedding Crashers

Very funny movie. Coming in, I was a bit nonplussed because I'm not an Owen Wilson guy, and VV has let me down the his last few movies. However, this movie rocked. Having the R rating was huge...it will be this summer's Something About Mary.

it made light of rape, was sexist, homophobic, and a pretty cheesy storyline, but having said all that, i actually enjoyed it, will ferrell was great ( MOM !! MEATLOAF!!).

I loved it. And umm.. i don't think it was a homophobic movie at all. It showed an old lady who was homophobic and it showed some creepy creepy kid who happened to be gay.

As for it being sexist? How? B/c these guys were womanizer's it's sexist? But if a woman sluts it up it's "empowering" right? Gimme a break.

It was just an overall really fucking funny movie that appealed both to the macho manly womanizer in 99% of men and to the saps of the world with a cheesy, but i thought cute love story.

Christ! are all these actors sharing movies or something?
This movie might okay, but i think its time to find some new actors...
Im sure there are plenty of funnier actors out there, stop milking actors america....

i saw it on acid and oxy and i will never go to the movies in that state again. but the parts of it that i remember seemed funny, of course i didn't understand some of it because i was too distracted by the scary shapes that some people made in the dark of the theater, and i was nodding because of the oxy. at certain parts of the movie, i couldn't distinguish the actors because they're images were melting and swirling waaaaay too much on screen.

ok im going to see this tonight... please tell me its better than anchorman

anchorman was fucking retarded... this was great!!!

some of it was a bit over done... but that's what makes stupid humor funny....

its one of those movies where you laugh the first time you watch it but the second time around your stomach muscles hurt from laughing cause you know whats coming

I think it was the greatest movie of the summer and perhaps the funniest movie of the year. I loved it. The previews didn't do it justice though. I walked in expecting something very different and walked out unexpectedly content. Great movie.

Extremely disappointing.

I love Vaughn and Wilson, and the concept was fantastic, but in my opinion, 80 to 90 percent of the jokes were extremely low-level.

2.7 stars.

40 Year Old Virgin was way way funnier.

Maybe I’ve been watching too many dramas lately, buy some of the exposition and acting during the first part of this movie is painful. Once the story gets going and Christopher Walken is introduced, though, the comedy carries the plot. Vince Vaughan has got to be the best actor in the so-called Frat Pack, although the cocky man shtick sometimes takes some getting used to. The backyard football scene reminded me of the volleyball scene from Meet the Parents, and it works just as well. The unexpected turn that the weird little brother takes is also hilarious, and you can never go wrong making fun of elitist New England pricks. Overall, the film is pretty good -- better than Anchorman.
