Hi everyone,

The Missing: Starring Cate Blanchett & Tommy Lee Jones.

Just curious if anyone has seen this yet, if so can someone lay down some details on it, it has been released right?

Much appreciated!

"The Missing" has something to do with Tommy Lee Jones playing some hunter with supernatural/mystical powers that is looking for an Indian that kidnaps Cate Blanchetts daughter.

I don't know much more than that but it looks like Tommy Lee Jones doesn't like to stray too far from the "Fugitive" chase-type formula.

Seeing as how this is a western I wouldn't expect too many bluelighters too have seen it. I saw it with my parents and actually enjoyed it very much. Cate Blanchet gives an excellent performance.

I liked it but had to close my eyes at certain parts (I get grossed out).
What parts were gross? Maybe the guy hanging above the fire but even that was mild.

I thought this movie was pretty good. I just saw it tonight and from what I remembered from the TV commercials thought it was going to be a scary/mystical thriller. The ads made it seem that way with all the footage of creepy forests and stuff. In actuality this is more of a classic Western.

I liked this movie and would recommend it. It is pretty long and the alternate endings on the DVD just repeat themselves for 5 minutes before a change. Overall though, good flick

the movie was kinda sluggish in getting by but towards the end it picked up with a decent mount of violence, but typically not my type opf movie not very exciting.
