i just watched the documentary scratch about hip-hop DJing, turntablism and the art of scratching.

it was a very well made documentary and the subject matter was excellent. the music of hip hip doesn't really do it for me but this really opened my eyes to a lot of excellent art.

Yeah, really liked this. Saw it when i was first getting into hip hop and its a very cool introduction. The DVD i had had a whole disc full of really worthwhile extras too, including a DJ lesson from Q-Bert

I watched this a while back, so I don't remember everything in the dvd, but I do remember feeling like an asshole for calling myself a dj after watching these guys do their thing.
