It's called One Pefect Day. You can check out the website www.oneperfectday.com.au It looks pretty good and the website is damn interesting. I don't know if it's coming to the US or not.
Mmmm I'll still undecided on this one. It felt like the movie couldn't decide what it wanted to say. I just couldn't feel anything for any of the characters, except for the main lead guy, even though I really didn't care what happened in the end.
The movie was overlong, weighed down by a sense of it's own importance, lacked any redeeming outlook on drug use, and was populated by characters that were either under-written or over-acted.

god, what was with the camerawork and editing for the first hour of the film - 'if we cut twenty times in thirty seconds and make it all blurry and stylish people'll think we're artistic'? yeah, right. it'd help if these people perhaps knew that style is supposed to complement the substance of the film - entirely pointless camera effects are just that when they don't correllate with the narrative or theme of the film.
the music was good, but big deal - it's not that hard to pick a bunch of songs and put them together. the realism of the film was total bullshit too - the quick rise of the "dj" was utter shit, and the drug taking was typically sensationalised, as well as the drug users being portrayed as vapid dickheads.
I watched this movie last night and finally understood it (I've attempted watching it before many times while stoned, and I can't concentrate on movies), so I was pretty happy with that.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, I thought it was awesome.
i liked the scene where he records some noise by the waterfall.
I enjoyed passing my time with this movie.
But the movie itself was really nothing special.
Has anyone sceen ONE FINE DAY? I remeber back when i bought PVD's global cd there was a preview for it on the cd. If anyone has sceen it...Is it any good? Worth buying? Are there alot of party sceens? Dj'ing? Etc.. Please describe the film. Thanks!!!!!!
I saw it long ago, on an airplane... that may have colored my judgement, but I thought it sucked. Clooney & Pfeiffer are two of my favorite actors but they sleepwalked through this one. Bo-ring.
