A dramatic retelling of the post-Watergate television interviews between British talk-show host David Frost and former president Richard Nixon

Trailer: http://www.lovefilm.com/product/detail.html?product_id=99122&auto_show_trailer=1&show_trailer=1

Opinions?

I really liked it, not lots you can say on it because we all know what it's about but a really good film.

It was little boring to me.... but then again I really don't know anythin about the whole Watergate scandal... I thought it was going to explain the whole scandal.. but it didn't... or I just didn't get it...

The film wasn't sposed to be about the scandal it's self but the famous Frost / Nixon interview where Nixon finally admitted he did wrong. Fairly obvious from the title. I don't think you had to know too much about the intricate details of the scandal to appreciate or enjoy the film.

Like I said I thought it was pretty good.

i thought it was a nice film, but mainly due to the script (based on a play) and the cast, who also were in the play. 3/5

pissed me off that they made such an obvious mistake in the sydney shots. so easy a mistake to avoid and with such a production value, it is unforgiveable.

...?

the shot is set 30 years ago
centre of the background, on huge prominant display is a set of controversial buildings which were built less than ten years ago.

a million different angles or a little sfx could have fixed this so easily.

yeah it is small, i do admit this, but it offends me that a production worth as much as this one is making such amateur mistakes.

it's as if one could see the strings holding up the death star as it swings in the breeze of the studio. = suspension of disbelief gone

Enough movies about Richard Nixon and JFK. You would think that they were the only presidents we've had. When they do a movie about Bill Clinton, (and no, Primary Colors doesn't count) that will peak my interests.
