brilliant.
i'd had this recommended to me a lot of times, but i only just got around to seeing it. it was really brilliant. despite the fact that this documentary is effectively just a propaganda piece for al-jazeera, it never comes across as heavy handed (which might seem like a bit of a paradox, but it's not).
obviously the filmmaker has a point that they're attempting to put forward here, but there is enough information and perspective provided to make it a valid documentary. it's really just readdressing the balance: and it's finally great to see the perspective of some of the al-jazeera journalists. it's also good to see that the american soldiers aren't caricatured - the main guy we see (i can't recall his position) isn't someone i agree with, but at the very least he was willing and open to debate and discussion on the issues, things which could have been passed over had this doco been more unfair.
i highly recommend this to anybody.
