As many of you know, MDAI and fenfluramine are both selective serotonin releasing agents, though fenfluramine is also a potent 5-HT2B agonist.
1. Has anyone here ever had fenfluramine (before it was found to cause valvulopathy)? What was the effect like? If you have also had MDAI, were the effects were similar to MDAI, out of curiosity?
2. I found an interesting study on the behavioral effects of norfenfluramine (similar to fenfluramine) which said that it acts as a sedative with acute dosing (like MDAI), but after chronic dosing for a couple weeks or so displays locomotor stimulant effects. It says that another study reported that fenfluramine did the same. Has anyone ever taken MDAI daily for a week or more? If so, did the effect become stimulating?
