I'm not sure if this is F&T appropriate either, but let's leave it here for the time being. My favorite TED talk is far and away Sir Ken Robinson's lecture on school's killing creativity. I also enjoy Malcolm Gladwell's talk on spaghetti sauces and Sal Khan's discussion on education. Really thought-provoking stuff.

I remember watching these vids years back and them leaving an impression on me out of all the TED talks I saw. While I'm glad they are becoming more popular, on some level it does suck when something you like suddenly gets big because people assume you are just another shmuck 'jumping on the bandwagon', so to speak.

Anything on physics or the universe is really interesting to me. I enjoyed Brian Greenes talks on string theory, and our universe being the only universe. The design of the universe was also pretty amazing. Also Paul Stamets 6 ways mushrooms can save the world hahah
