Favorite local DJ at the moment

In Chicago I'll say Matt Roan. I saw him this summer and I had more fun with house music than I have had for a long time. His set @ Wicker Park Fest helped me forget my daily stresses and get lost in his discolicious brand of house.

So many better Chicago DJ's.

Bad Boy Bill, DJ Funk, as for favorite DJ that's a resident at a spot I go to on the regular I'd say Dj Magix (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKiOdk28OxQ.

Really? Bad Boy Bill? He used to spin with Markski, Too Cool Chris, and Tim Schoemer on B96 for crying out loud. His skills are decent but his sound is so commercial. DJ Funk never strays far from the bootie house formula that he's been throwing down since early 90's. It would be hard to tell a DJ Milton from a DJ Urbn from a DJ Funk.

I see DJ Magix has residency at Zero Gravity, which says a lot in itself and puts your other recommendations in context.
 
I am from oshkosh, and eventually I get down to Milwaukee to the rave. I seen Bad Boy Bill and he isn't he best ive seen. I like the way David Boggio mixes, check him out.

Otherwise milwaukee kinda struggles for original music played by djs. They like to play stuff ive heard a million times. Chicago, i've met DJ Rozz, he isn't bad at least he responds to my facebook chats sometimes lol
 
For DC I'd have to say Measax and Jubilee

Obviously there are some big names like Dubfire, but I'm talking about relative unknowns.

They are both great minimal/deep DJs

Not really local but since the Nashville electronic scene is way lame I've been making trips out to Atlanta, they know how to get down in that town!

Favorite local DJ so far is Ginza.
